I authorize Company to collect and use my and my guest’s name, portrait, likeness, voice, writing and other personally identifiable characteristics as contained in any photograph, image, testimonial, video or audio recordings, and/or in any verbal or written statement by me and/or by my guest (collectively “Images”).
I grant Company the right to use Images in various initiatives, which may be used in various mediums for such purposes as marketing, publicity, franchise sales, training, illustration, advertising, Web content, throughout the world for any and all purposes (“Purposes”).
I authorize Company to copyright, use and publish these materials in both print and electronic formats for all Purposes.
In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein the Images appear.
I grant Company to license to other third parties (including any advertising or marketing companies) the unrestricted use of the Images for the Purposes.
I agree that Company shall have exclusive ownership of all right, interest and title in and to any works created by Company incorporating the Images including, without limitation, all copyrights therein. For the avoidance of doubt, Company will own the copyright to any Images that are incorporated by it for all Purposes.
I agree that I will make no monetary or other claim against Company for their use of any Images.

Event Terms & Conditions

You recognize and understand that Compass, Inc.and its parent and affiliates, including Anywhere Real Estate Inc. (collectively “Company” or “us”) are not providing transportation, lodging, meals outside of the event, recreation and other services to you. You agree that the direct providers of those services will be solely responsible for any personal injury or property damage you may sustain, and you hereby release Company, on behalf of yourself, your guests, your family members, and your heirs for any actions or inactions of such suppliers. Company is not the agents of those providers.
The 100 (the “Event”) is not open to the general public or any persons under twenty-one (21) years of age. Registration for anyone that is not a member of the Compass Franchise System is subject to Company’s pre-approval such guests shall only be eligible to attend certain limited sessions. Compass franchisees, affiliated brokers or agents may not register as guests. You agree to indemnify and defend Company for any loss, costs or damages resulting in connection with your or such guest's attendance at the Event or any breach of confidentiality or other obligations inherent in attending an Event where confidential and proprietary information is shared.
Certain activities that may be offered at or in connection with the Event may be physical in nature. Your participation in these activities is purely voluntary and at your own risk. You agree that you are solely responsible for any personal injury you or your guest may sustain and hereby release the Company on behalf of yourself, your family members, and your heirs for any injury or loss of life you may sustain. If you bring a guest to the Event, and your guest participates in any physical activity, you agree to indemnify and defend Company for any loss, cost, or physical injury sustained by such guest's participation in the activity Event.
Personal Information
In connection with your registration and participation in the Event, you authorize the Company to collect certain information about you and any registered guests including your name, email, phone number, company, address, emergency contact (name and phone number) and perhaps other related personal and/or business information about you and/or your guest (“Personal Information”) and payment card details. The Company collects Personal Information to complete your Event registration, make and complete reservations at event hotels and other providers, manage your account, communicate with you about future events, engage in marketing-related activities, reporting and tracking purposes, and other reasonable business interests, and as necessary to perform a contract with you. Such purposes may also be effectuated by a third-party vendor retained by Company, who shall be deemed authorized to the same extent as Company.
To the extent the event has Exhibitors, the registration vendor for the event may use technology to allow you to share your personal information with Exhibitors. You understand and agree that by scanning your badge with Exhibitors, you will be sharing your Personal Information with that Exhibitor.
By providing us with your Personal Information, you agree and authorize the Company and/or its third-party vendors to contact you through various communication channels, including through text message, email and telephone/cellular phone calls, about registration, overall event experience, or promotional offers, even if your telephone number is on an internal company or Company, state, or national Do Not Call Registry. You also agree to the terms set out in the Company’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use as set forth on https://www.compass.com/legal/trust-center/ and https://simpletexting.com/privacy-policy/.
Event may take place in the United States. If you are located in a country outside the United States, for example, the European Economic Area or Switzerland (collectively, “Europe”), cross-border transfer is, therefore, necessary for the conclusion or performance of a transaction that you are requesting, and for the establishment, exercise, and defense of legal claims. To the extent permitted by local law, your event registration and provision of any Personal Information constitutes your consent to the cross-border transfer of Personal Information and the other activities identified in the Company’s Privacy Policy.
Authorization and Release Regarding Personal Information and Images
I authorize the Company to collect, use, and otherwise process my Personal Information and the Personal Information of any guest (collectively for the purposes of this Authorization and Release “Personal Information”) in connection with the Event and instances related to the Event.
Additionally, I agree to the following:
I release the Company from any and all liability for, and claims and demands arising out of, this instrument and the use of, and to the international transfer of, my Personal Information and Images to the United States and to any affiliated companies or service providers in the United States or other territories, for the Purposes identified above.
Europe Residents Only: I understand my authorization can be easily withdrawn at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal), and that not providing or withdrawing my authorization will not prohibit my registration or participation in the Event, but may limit the availability of certain programs, activities, events, or marketing that we believe that you would find valuable.
I acknowledge that I have reviewed and read the contents of this Authorization and Release, and I have been promised no compensation, and have I not contracted with any party for any compensation, for the use of my Personal Information and Images as provided in this authorization.
Health & Safety Disclaimer and Release
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, remains present and extremely contagious and may cause serious illness and death. Company cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while at their premises, at a Company event or activity, or performing any action for or on behalf of Company. Any in-person interaction with, at, or for Company may increase the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
I agree and understand these specific risks and nonetheless accept them to utilize Company services and attend an event or activity. These services are of such value to me that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 to participate in person rather than arranging for an alternative method participating or not participating at all. I further hereby forever release and waive all claims and rights against the Company in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to utilizing their services or premises or interacting with their members. I understand that this release and waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease, property losses, or any other loss that may be released and waived under applicable law, including, but not limited to, claims of negligence, and I understand that this release and waiver prevents me from seeking damages in any way against the Company, whether such damages are known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, or that occur now or in the future.
By registering for this Event, I acknowledge that I have read the above and agree to all these terms and conditions.
